Following the severe weather that has hit the southeast of France in recent days, the Carrefour Foundation, along with Carrefour and Carrefour Market stores, are mobilizing to assist those affected by partnering with the French charity organization Secours populaire français.
From January 23 to February 9, the 55 Carrefour and Carrefour Market stores in the departments of Alpes-Maritimes, Bouches-du-Rhône, Var, and Vaucluse are organizing a fundraising campaign among their customers.
Customers will have the opportunity to make a donation to Secours populaire français through coupons valued at two euros available at checkout. The collected funds will be distributed to the local branches of the association.
In addition to this effort, the Carrefour Foundation has allocated 50,000 euros in aid of the Secours populaire français. The donations will urgently provide affected families with equipment, hygiene products, furniture, appliances, etc.
