The rapprochement between Droite Libre and the Indignรฉs du FN collective (at least a portion of it, because some have committed to Philippe Vardon’s list), which has been in the air for a few days, has been formalized in anticipation of the municipal elections.
These two groups will participate in this competition under the banner: “Let’s Unite.”
Thus, staunch right-wing voters will have a choice between four lists (Arnautu, Peyrat, Vardon, Cotta), which will lead to a dispersal of votes and likely make it improbable, if not impossible, for any of them to be present in the second round.

According to the representatives of this new list, the current situation analysis of Nice is alarming, as is the offer and choice for the people of Nice on March 23.

Armed with these analyses, the rapprochement between Droite Libre and the Indignรฉs du Front Niรงois becomes, according to them, an obvious choice. A choice primarily for the defense of Nice’s uniqueness and identity and to return to city management coherent with its means, emphasizing the necessary savings for the survival of local populations by reducing its expenses.
A program will be presented very soon and will propose solutions on major topics such as housing, security, migration flows, parking, nurseries, senior accommodations, road maintenance, defense of commerce and artisans.
For the head of the list, Michel Cotta, the path is clear: “Our situation is serious and deserves a broad rallying, a public safety committee organized around objectives that allow us to rediscover the taste for Nice’s life. We must return governance of the city to the people of Nice, as we have advocated for years, all structuring projects must be subject to a local initiative referendum.”
