The Ferrero Gallery pays tribute to the wife of President Kennedy, then of Aristotle Onassis. Nearly 200 photos, most of them previously unseen, immortalize Jackie, the embodiment of elegance.
Born on July 28, 1929, in Southampton, Jacqueline Bouvier joined the Kennedy clan in 1953 by marrying John Fitzgerald, seven years before he was elected President of the United States.
The rest is known worldwide. Two children, then a husband assassinated, and finally a second marriage to Greek billionaire Aristotle Onassis.
America fell under the charm of a woman whose destiny was both flamboyant and tragic.
Jackie passed away in 1994 at the age of 64.
The Nice-based Ferrero Gallery pays homage to her with a beautiful exhibition on display until May 29.
