From Thursday, October 13 at 10:30 AM to October 20 – Urban Planning and Architecture Forum, Place Pierre Gautier
Demonstration by schoolchildren participating in the workshop.
This mobile workshop, designed by the City of Architecture & Heritage, invites people of all ages to play with its collection of over 5,000 pieces, consisting of Anker stones, Lego bricks, Meccano plates, K’nex rods, and Kapla planks.
Discover architecture while having fun!
For younger audiences, building games are a fantastic way to understand architecture. 26 classes, from 4th grade to 6th grade, will thus learn about concepts of volume, shapes, and colors. Guided by a mediator, children will be able to replicate Nice buildings to compare them with other models such as an Inca pyramid or a Greek temple!
The Urban Planning and Architecture Forum of the City of Nice places great importance on raising awareness of architectural culture among young Niรงoi, so that as adults, they can actively participate in the city’s life and give their opinions on major city projects as informed citizens.
