The Eagles are traveling to Bordeaux this Saturday, March 1st, for the last day of the regular season. In the “away” match, the Eagles lost the game with a score of 5-2.
The Eagles are now in the playoffs and can finish 6th in the regular season if Milan Varga’s team secures 2 points from a victory against the Bordeaux Boxers.
The stakes of this match also include preparing as well as possible for the quarter-finals of the French championship which will begin on Saturday, March 8th in Nice.
Bordeaux is not an easy opponent, especially in their arena with over 3,000 people. Ranked 2nd in the championship, the Boxers have had a very good season thanks in large part to two scorers, Etienne Brodeur and Francis Desrosiers, who have together accumulated 95 points!
