On October 23rd, a grand festival of alternatives (environmental, social, economic, food-related, etc.) will take place at Place du Palais de Justice in old Nice to announce the November Celebration Month!
On the agenda: farmers’ market, community village, workshops, information table, fair-trade bar; continuous planting workshops (beans and peas) with Graines de Fermiers association, documentation area, etc.

A network of about a hundred actors is mobilizing across three departments: Alpes Maritimes, Var, and Alpes de Haute Provence. The networks of International solidarity, peasant agriculture, and the social and solidarity economy are joining forces for a November filled with activities: solidarity markets, discussion meetings, screenings and discussions, workshops, shows, and concerts.
The Solidarity Economy Pole of Nice (PECOS) is coordinating this year’s November Celebration event by bringing together several actors’ collectives from Alpes Maritimes and VAR: the ALIMEN’TERRE documentary film festival, International Solidarity Week, the Month of ESS, the ALIMEN’TERRE Festival, the Fair Music Festival of Ménilmontant.
