Thursday, October 20, 2011, at 5 PM: Pharma-Livres – 34 boulevard Louis Braille – Nice
The EPILOGUE association, with the support of the city of Nice, the Nice Côte d’Azur Urban Community, and other associations, has organized a poetic journey created by children and adults from the Saint-Charles and Bon Voyage neighborhoods.
Walkers are invited to discover these poems, often illustrated, during a stroll between the Bon Voyage Leisure Activity Center and the Pharma-Livres of the Epilogue association, from Pont René Coty to boulevard Louis Braille.
Displayed as banners, placards, posters on balconies, and building facades, the curious will read these original creations inspired by the theme of Francophonie, “Tell me 10 words that connect us,” and the 2011 Springtime of Poets, “Infinite landscapes.”
This Thursday, October 20, 2011, at 5 PM, at the Pharma-Livres of the Epilogue association, poets and partners will gather for a reading snack. Subsequently, compiled into a booklet, these poems will be distributed to the residents of the relevant neighborhoods.
The association is funded through various schemes of the Nice Côte d’Azur City Policy (Urban Social Cohesion Contract, Educational Success Program). Its aim is to contribute to the fight against illiteracy and to promote the practice of reading and writing.
