Organized by the Federation for Brain Research (FRC), the national Neurodon campaign takes place throughout the week of March 10 to 16, 2014, and a collection is organized in the Carrefour stores in Nice TNL and Lingostière.
This awareness and fundraising initiative is conducted in support of brain research and its diseases, which affect more than 1.5 million people in France.
This solidarity operation will allow customers who wish to make a donation through a donation coupon worth €2. They will just need to present it at the checkout. It will be added to the amount of their purchases and will be donated to the FRC.
Since 2002, Carrefour has supported the actions of the Federation for Brain Research and its volunteers through this national fundraising effort during Brain Week. These donations will help finance research, broaden the scope of knowledge about the brain, find treatments for its diseases, and ultimately cure them.
A positive Neurodon collection report in Carrefour stores 2013
In 2013, during the National Neurodon Campaign, €113,935 were collected from customers in Carrefour and Carrefour Market stores. Since the beginning of the partnership, the retailer has collected more than one million euros, thus contributing to the funding of 34 research programs.
