For the 7th consecutive year, “Cโest pas classique” offers a vibrant program that will delight both young and old.
In response to this great success, the 2011 season includes an additional evening: from November 24 to 27, 2011, the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes and Nice Cรดte d’Azur offer around a hundred free concerts to introduce classical music to all audiences.
Culture for all, thanks to free access and quality accessible to everyone, is indeed one of the cultural policy spearheads of the General Council and Nice Cรดte d’Azur.
Thus, through this musical event, the Department is pursuing three objectives:
๏ท to allow the inhabitants of the area to access all forms of artistic expression,
๏ท to support artists living and working in the department,
๏ท to develop a cultural economy that generates jobs in connection with cultural tourism.
Once again this year, atypical shows, renowned artists, in short, a true array of new features… at the Palais Acropolis and other venues, all this and much more will be presented to you at this conference, where we expect many of you to attend.
