The National Council of Towns and Villages in Bloom has once again awarded the “Four Flowers” label to Nice and granted it a special mention for the Promenade du Paillon. A label held since 1975.

And for the first time, a special mention has been secured by the city for the development of the Promenade du Paillon.

Completed in October 2013, this project is among the largest ever built in the heart of the city.

Designed by Michel Pena, this development is a foundational act in the inclusion of plants in the cityscape.

With its 40,000 m² of planted spaces in the city center, including 1,600 trees, 6,000 shrubs, and 50,000 perennials and grasses, the 128 water jets of its water mirror, and the 576 misting nozzles of its misting area, the Promenade du Paillon has become a space for relaxation and sharing.
