A problem concerning the unexplained removal of certain individuals from the electoral rolls has been raised by Jacques Peyrat, Patrick Allemand, and Olivier Bettati.

For Patrick Allemand: “According to our estimates, 2,800 voters have thus been removed without their knowledge before the municipal elections, and in many cases that have come to our attention, it does not involve individuals who have moved, as well as the president of our support committee, Paule Rey-Josselet.”

Olivier Bettati’s running mate, Marc Concas, a lawyer, has also expressed his intention to file legal challenges in court starting today.

Jacques Peyrat, also a lawyer, echoed the same sentiment: “From the first hours of the polling stations opening, we have received reports of people who, going to vote confidently, were rejected due to removal.

Can we imagine such a scandal in the 5th largest city in France? I am asking the Mayor of our city to immediately provide us with clear and precise explanations about these practices that prevent citizens from being able to vote.”
