For the first time, discover in Nice a festival entirely dedicated to the Imaginative — science fiction, fantasy, fantastical — and short creations: Nice Fictions. From April 17 to 19, 2015, at the Saint-Jean-d’Angély campus, come meet authors, attend conferences, participate in tournaments or writing matches. Literature, video games, cinema, series, role-playing games, all will honor the Imaginative — Free entry
For three days, the Saint-Jean-d’Angély campus will be the meeting place for all artists offering a reality different from ours. It is not just about science fiction because all imaginaries will be represented through numerous activities.
This first edition of Nice Fictions is organized in partnership with the university library (BU) and GRAAL (also present at the Simulation Games section at the Cannes International Games Festival) and is associated with the festivities for the 50th anniversary of the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis.
Throughout the weekend, come attend round tables, signings, storytelling readings, and exhibitions like those by Yvan Villeneuve, Jessica Masia, and Olivier Sanfilippo “Les Ombres d’Esteren” or by the Condé school, which reimagines the city “Nice in entwined realities.”
