The General Council is organizing information meetings on careers in personal services.

On Tuesday, November 8 and Wednesday, November 16, from 2 p.m. at the Nice-Vallรฉes Employment Center, the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes, in collaboration with Pรดle Emploi Nice-Vallรฉes, the National Solidarity Fund for Autonomy, and the association Reflets*, is organizing an information meeting on careers in personal services.

The Department offers, to job seekers or those undergoing career change living in the Var, Tinรฉe, and Vรฉsubie valleys, a module leading to careers in personal services. This module is delivered through decentralized training sessions via videoconference from the telemedicine station of the Alpes-Maritimes General Council.

Program of the meeting

Part 1:

โ€ข Presentation of careers in personal services in the health and social sector (at home or in institutions),

โ€ข Evaluation of peopleโ€™s predispositions,

โ€ข Information on the required qualities: listening, availabilityโ€ฆ

โ€ข Introduction to these career practices,

โ€ข Information on actions implemented by the General Council.

Part 2:

โ€ข Interested individuals will have the opportunity to take placement tests conducted by the association REFLETS, which help identify the necessary skills for candidates to work in this type of position.

A support training created and funded by the General Council

Following these exercises, participants will be able to enroll in a fully free pre-qualifying course delivered via videoconference from the General Council’s telemedicine station.

โ€ข Duration: eight weeks โ€” six for theory, two for practice (internship in an institution or at home).

โ€ข Objective: acquire basic skills in these professions aimed at accessing direct employment in roles that do not require a diploma (home help, hospital service agent) or pursuing further qualifying or diploma courses: nursing assistant, psycho-social aid, social auxiliaryโ€ฆ

An additional allowance funded up to โ‚ฌ408

This module is unpaid; however, participants will have their allowances maintained (if registered with Pรดle emploi) and will receive a flat-rate reimbursement of expenses by the General Council up to โ‚ฌ12 per day, or โ‚ฌ408 per trainee, upon presentation of the training completion certificate.
