Jean-Christophe Picard, having been elected President of the anti-corruption association Anticor, resigned from his position as head of the Departmental Federation of the Left Radical Party, as the two functions are incompatible.
Patrick Mottard was elected President. “It is an honor for me to now lead this efficient structure, which is useful to local public life and, as a bonus, friendly,” he stated.
He added: “It is therefore with pride that, as part of a team with the federal board and the activists, I will strive to build on this legacy and these values in our department, but also on a national level as a brand new member of the Director’s Committee.”
However, one does not forget their first loves, and Patrick Mottard has not abandoned his role as founding president of Gauche Autrement: “Of course, this role is incompatible with leading Gauche Autrement, the local political association we created with many friends following the 2008 municipal campaign. G.A. is indeed a gathering of men and women from diverse political backgrounds who do not necessarily intend to join the PRG. Therefore, a new leader will be appointed by the members in a few weeks.”
