To celebrate the restored beauty of the Sainte Réparate Cathedral, a jewel of Baroque art, nothing less than the high-flying Baroque music ensemble, Café Zimmermann, was needed, now hosted in residence at the famous Cathedral in the old town.
They will perform at a grand concert this Sunday at 8:30 PM, on the anniversary of the consecration of this building, marking the start of the inaugural cultural year’s events at Sainte Réparate Cathedral, organized by the Musical Moments of the Alpes-Maritimes association.

After eight years of work, following an extensive restoration project both outside and inside, Sainte Réparate Cathedral has regained all its splendor.
The entire building has undergone restoration work, including masonry, painting, faux marble, plasterwork, stained glass, electricity, ironwork, lighting, sound system, as well as 16 paintings restored in Marseille.
To restore its brilliance to this authentic jewel of Baroque art, the craftsmen endeavored to rediscover the original color palette, in shades of grey, Genoese blue, and gold set against a background of ochres in several tones. Thus, the gem of Nice’s architectural heritage
