The first edition of the “Dancing with Seniors” contest brought together more than 300 participants and offered an exceptional finale in a packed Palais de la Méditerranée.
Building on this success, the Alpes-Maritimes Departmental Council is launching the second edition of this ballroom dance contest, which has become a flagship activity in the “Seniors in Action” program, this month.
The contest is open, as it was last year, to dance enthusiasts over the age of 55 residing in the department. They can register until September 18, 2015, at the Departmental Houses and Senior Houses of the Alpes-Maritimes, either as a couple or individually.
The first selection rounds will take place from September to October at the Royal Sardinian Palace.
