The company “L’entrée des artistes” and CAL Gorbella, with the support of the city of Nice and under the sponsorship of Jacques Dejeandile, journalist at France 2 and Deputy Municipal Councilor for events, are organizing the fourth composed arts festival “Au fil de l’autre,” scheduled for May 22-23 and 26-27.
Based on the theme “let’s blend our differences and meet through sports and artistic practices,” this festival is about engaging with uniqueness and sharing. Disabled individuals are the key players in this unusual event which allows disabled and able-bodied artists to meet, exchange, and create.
The eclectic program offers performances of singing, dance, music, and theater, as well as a debate on art and disability and a photo exhibition.
The official launch of the festival will take place with the opening of the “Regards croisés” exhibition and musical entertainment featuring the group “Les cigales d’Azur,” organized by CAL Foyer le Roc Antibes, the Marceline APREH center, and Moroccan musician Hamid Laafoui.
