The Selecioun is set to challenge Europe in Debrecen, one year after its victory at the conIFA World Cup.
To participate in the conIFA competition (federations not affiliated with FIFA), the players of the Selecioun must be born in the former County of Nice. This region includes the coastline from Nice to Cap-d’Ail and the valleys of the Estéron, Var, Tinée, Vésubie, Roya, Bévéra, and Paillon.
A 6-team tournament
Abkhazia and South Ossetia have announced their withdrawal from the competition due to visa issues.
The 18 players selected to compete in the 2015 Euro in Hungary will challenge Szekelyfold and Felvidek in the group stage.
