In August 2014, a complaint was filed by the National Environment Union against comments made by Christian Estrosi regarding the reintroduction of wolves in the Mercantour Park, which led, on September 28, 2015, to a conviction for defamation in the first instance.
Christian Estrosi immediately appealed this conviction, which was upheld on appeal, and against which the President of the Metropolis will file an appeal to the Court of Cassation, as he announced in a statement.
However, Christian Estrosi is not giving up: “Still, I persist and sign: the wolf has not been reintroduced naturally. I remain proud to be the spokesperson for pastoralism and the defender of the Haut-Pays. The breeders are the wealth of our territory.”
And especially these are voters who must be supported in their instances: they vote.
