The departmental election attempt has therefore been transformed. The Identitaires of Nissa Rebela will join Marion Maréchal Le Pen’s team for the regional campaign in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.
The National Front candidate has decided to cast a wide net in Christian Estrosi’s stronghold, the Alpes-Maritimes, and after the rallying of former UMP member Olivier Bettati, it will be Philippe Vardon and his group who will participate in the competition with the aim of breaking the eggs in the basket of the Mayor of Nice.
Moreover, during the departmental elections, the candidates from this movement played along and no tension was noted between them and their list colleagues.
On that occasion, Philippe Vardon kept a low profile, but he was indeed the one who pulled the strings of this agreement.
This time, he will be at the forefront and there is no doubt about his “muscular” commitment.
In the last municipal elections (March 2014), Philippe Vardon received 5,095 votes in the first round in Nice.
