The plaque on the Wall of the “Righteous Among the Nations,” a memorial wall featuring the names of the Righteous from Alpes-Maritimes, has been damaged.
According to the first witnesses, it seems that this act was carried out by three individuals who deliberately threw stones at the plaque to break it.
The National Police arrived on the scene and are reviewing footage from video surveillance cameras to identify the perpetrators of these acts.
It is unacceptable that such actions can be committed at this commemorative site.
The unanimous wish is for law enforcement to quickly locate and arrest the offenders.
