The results from the Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur Regional Health Agency (ARS) regarding the quality of bathing waters have just been released for 2015.
This is very good news for Villeneuve-Loubet, which can boast of being among the top-ranked municipalities in the department!
No less than 2,970 samples were taken between May and the end of September across 16 municipalities and 149 points. On the six beaches along the 3.9 km of Villeneuve-Loubet’s coastline—Vaugrenier, Lifeguard Station No. 2, Pierre au tambour, La batterie, Lifeguard Station No. 1, and Loup—the water quality is rated as excellent, with the last one rated as good quality.
This places Villeneuve-Loubet among the department’s favorites, proportional to its number of beaches.
