This Saturday, the commune of Berre-les-Alpes is celebrating the musical group that bears its name and promotes it in venues where it showcases the musical talent of its singers. Le Corou de Berra is a professional a cappella polyphonic singing group created in 1986. The group is based in the Southern Alps and has been performing in Europe for 30 years.

The repertoire of Le Corou de Berra changes depending on the performances offered and ranges from the traditional singing of the Mediterranean Alps in its purest form to the most unexpected contemporary creations.

In 2015, the group was invited by Francis Cabrel to sing on the track “In Extremis” from his latest album of the same name, “In Extremis”.

Le Corou de Berra has worked with artists such as Andrรฉ Ceccarelli, Thomas Bramerie, Sebastien Chouard, Francis Cabrel, Jean Maria Testa, Carlo Rizzo, and more. It contributed music to the film DOGORA (Patrice Leconte, Etienne Perruchon).

The group has an extensive discography and has received numerous awards*.
