Candidate in the departmental elections in 2015 under the PS-EELV banner, involved in the opposition group “Notre avenir pour Nice” in the City, Fouzia Ayoub has decided to break the silence and she invites, “firstly my Muslim friends,” to denounce terrorist acts. She does this with an open letter that deserves to be read and shared.
“I, Fouzia Ayoub, say loud and clear that I condemn without any restriction all the crimes and horrors perpetrated by Daesh, Boko Haram, and all other forms of radical extremism, and therefore, of course, radical Islamism.
I will do everything in my power, at my small level, to contribute to fighting against anyone who feeds, disseminates, and participates, directly or indirectly, in this vast operation of human destruction.
I will do everything in my power to help the State forces and others in charge of our national security to report all enemies of our country so they have the means to protect us.
No matter our origins, our beliefs, our sensitivities, it is the duty of all of us to protect France, to maintain our national cohesion, to continue working towards humanity and respect for all.
I invite all my friends, firstly my Muslim friends (because they are the first victims and because it is they whom Daesh wants to use), to post a message on Facebook to tell Daesh and all their murderers, enemies of Humanity, that we unanimously condemn these terrorist acts and that we have decided to do everything in our power to help bring them down.
From now on, a reverse chain of resistance and struggle, invisible and endemic, must develop, on social media but also in our daily lives.
Share, spread, and let us all step out of inaction!
It concerns the safety of us all, of our children and families, and of our country.”
