Ultra-trail: a challenge from the sea to the mountains

This is the ultimate nature event that everyone has been waiting for: the Ultra-Trail Côte d’Azur Mercantour, starting from Nice at the Baie des Anges and finishing in Saint-Martin-Vésubie.


On September 4, 5, and 6, the route will traverse our iconic peaks such as Mont Chauve, Férion, Archas, Cime de la Valette de Prals, and Pépoiri, situated at 2,674 meters, which will be the highest point of this challenge.

The Alpes-Maritimes territory will become the unique playground of the first Ultra-Trail® Côte d’Azur Mercantour, offering an exceptional course between sea and mountains, dotted with exceptional landscapes.

From the beaches of Nice to the mountains, participants will have to climb 10,000 meters of positive elevation and descend 9,000 meters to reach the finish altitude of 950 meters.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

On September 4 at 1:00 PM: Parade start – Quai des Etats-Unis, and at 2:00 PM official start of the race – Place Alexandre Médecin.

Arrival at St Martin-Vésubie on September 6 with a running time of 50 hours
