The Week of Taste: Teaching Children a Balanced Diet

The 2015 Taste Week was officially presented: it is the fourth edition, and it will allow 22,000 schoolchildren in 99 restaurants and 25 daycare centers in the city of Nice to sample delicious dishes specially concocted for them.

From Monday, October 12 to Friday, October 16, Chef Ratatouille will indeed hand over his kitchen to Christian Plumail, Michel Devillers, Jacques Rolancy, Josรฉ Orsini, Luc Salsedo, Gilles Ballestra, David Vaquรฉ, Sรฉbastien Mahuet, and Alain Llorca.

These great professionals will accompany the children in the conquest of taste, fresh products, and culinary excellence.

The students of the Paul Augier hotel school will also be involved and will contribute to the meal service in the dining halls.

For the little ones, beyond recipes adapted to young taste buds by the Chefs, two workshops around fruits and citrus will be led by local producers: Pascal Magnan, an apple producer in Entrevaux, and Brigitte Autier, a creator of marinades based on local products.
