EXPLORIMAGES, the 21st International Festival of Nature and Adventure Image, which will offer extraordinary sporting, human, and scientific adventures around the world.
The festival will propose major themes of reflection such as the preservation of nature and the environment, scientific exploration, and will inspire dreams through sumptuous journeys off the beaten path.
Iceland will be honored with an exhibition on volcanoes and presentations from several specialists in volcanology.
Conference-debates will be organized with the presence of filmmakers, and forums will be held throughout the Festival.
On Friday, November 11, 2016, at 8 PM*, the festival will be dedicated to extreme mountain adventures with two superb films:
REDEMPTION: the extreme climbing film featuring British climber James Pearson
ALPINE LINE: the odyssey of two mountaineers from Corsica to Slovenia. Yann Borgnet, one of the two mountaineers, will be present and will offer us a making-of.
Sunday at 6:30 PM, the awards ceremony and screening of the winning films.
