The Saint-Jean Health Center in Cagnes-sur-Mer is expanding! In November, the Antibes Saint-Jean Center will open, offering a comprehensive range of healthcare services centralized in one location for personalized care.
The goal? To provide a comprehensive healthcare offering with minimal space. “It’s about improving the ergonomics for Antibes patients,” explains Professor Alemanno, chairman of the board of directors of the Saint-Jean Health Center. “We are bringing together medical consultations from various specialties, balneotherapy activities, and rehabilitation hospitalization within this center.”
In this unified facility, it will also be possible to undergo numerous tests (X-rays, ultrasounds, mammograms, biological tests, anesthesia, etc.). The post-operative hospitalization (60 single rooms, 100 beds) near the consulting specialists will also allow for better follow-up, especially in orthopedics.
Complementary Activities
Therapeutic pools will hold an important place within the center, allowing for functional rehabilitation activities, pregnancy follow-ups, and post-natal follow-ups including childbirth preparation and baby swimming classes. “We will even offer aquabiking classes and other activities around childbirth,” adds Professor Alemanno.
Regarding rehabilitation hospitalization, the aim is to offer patients a true therapeutic project. In fact, each medical project is different, depending on age, pathology, associated illnesses, and the individual. “The goal is to treat patients from all over the department with traumatic or orthopedic themes,” the practitioner states. “As well as to improve the daily lives of surgeons with optimized use of facilities.”
