A very special day for these new young firefighters who will receive their helmet and their diploma, marking their entry into the large family of firefighters in France.
This Saturday, November 15th, Adolphe COLRAT, Prefect of the Alpes-Maritimes, and Éric CIOTTI, Deputy, President of the General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes, President of the Board of Directors of the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service, will award helmets and diplomas to the young firefighters of the Alpes-Maritimes, certifying their success in the national exam.
Eight instructors will also receive their trainer certificates.
This event will also be an opportunity to grant the rank of lieutenant to Didier HOLTON, head of the young firefighter section in Théoule-sur-mer.
At 11 am, at the Prefectural Palace in Nice, in the presence of Colonel Patrick BAUTHEAC, Director of the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service, Lieutenant Pierre BINAUD, President of the Departmental and Regional Union of Firefighters, and Lieutenant-Colonel Alain LEFLON, President of the Young Firefighters Association and section chiefs.
