The Young Economic Chamber of the Nice Metropolitan Area (JCEMN) visited the Carros Apprenticeship Training Center (CFA) to discuss entrepreneurship.

jcemn-2.jpg According to Richard Gordon, president of the Nice Metropolitan JCE: “Informing young people in professional pathways about the possibilities of becoming entrepreneurs is very important, as many retirements are anticipated in the next 5 years. The creation and especially the takeover of businesses will increasingly take center stage. 50% of students currently in professional pathways will be likely to become business leaders within 5 to 10 years.”

About 80 young people attended, accompanied by their teachers, and actively participated by engaging in topics such as management, public and private assistance, the responsibilities of a business leader, etc.

Among the audience were classes in aesthetics and hairdressing, as well as future bakers transitioning careers.

Young people in professional pathways constitute one of the most significant pools of entrepreneurs but are paradoxically the least informed on this subject.

To address this information gap, JCEMN invited Sรฉbastien BERTONI, President of the Initiative Nice Cรดte d’Azur (INCA) platform, Jean FABRE, a member of approval committees within INCA, and Nadia MAJDI, an esthetician and former student of the CFA.

All three conveyed strong messages to the apprentices, shared their experiences, and provided valuable advice to this future generation of business leaders.

Videos interspersed with the speakers’ stories featured other creators or business acquirers equally eager to share their passion for the adventure that is entrepreneurship.
