The funding obtained (€44,720) will enable the development of a training program between entrepreneur students from Nice and Israeli students on new societal and environmental challenges. It will allow them to better understand the major role and social responsibilities of companies in this context. Starting in 2020 and for two years, the selected students will have access to a joint program via video conference and a 15-day exchange between Nice and Eilat. These initiatives will be implemented by the CEEI Nice Côte d’Azur (business incubator of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis) and its Israeli counterpart “Eilat Hub.”
Supported by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and by the International Association of Francophone Mayors (AIMF) to amplify and accelerate its cooperation on energy transition and sustainable development, this awarded project (€112,000) will allow the City of Nice and the Metropolis Nice Côte d’Azur to finance, from 2020 onwards, the support it has been providing to Abidjan for several years in improving air quality and combating noise pollution, raising youth awareness of climate issues, and supporting the empowerment of women.
