The appointment of Claire BEHAR as the general director of the Regional Tourism Committee CÔTE d’AZUR FRANCE was announced by the president, David Lisnard.
A Doctor of Economic Sciences from the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis, Claire BEHAR has always been involved in the development strategies of our region. As an engineer, from 2003 to 2009, within the CNRS, Telecom Valley, and then the Syndicat Sophia Alpes-Maritimes, she undertook numerous missions to enhance local expertise.
In 2009, she joined the Departmental Council of the Alpes-Maritimes and contributed to the largest departmental projects (notably the creation of the SophiaTech campus). Subsequently, as the head of the Europe and Tourism service, before assuming the role of Deputy Director of Territorial Attractiveness in 2018.
