The CDEN (Departmental Council of National Education) has made the first decisions for the 2019 school year: despite a negative demographic trend, -180 students, the allocation will be positive, +14 positions.
Despite the demographic decline, the rural schools in the mid and high regions will be preserved as long as the enrollment numbers remain stable.
In adherence to departmental equity, the Academic Inspector has ensured that there are proposals for opening classes when there are more students and closing them when there are fewer.
The 2019 school map will be subject to adjustments in June and then in September.
