For the duration of a weekend, Lidl customers will be invited to participate in this event to help the needy.

In the 1500 supermarkets of the brand in France, Lidl customers will be able to enjoy a 15% discount on a selection of food or hygiene and cleaning products, while stocks last.

This initiative, led by the brand, encourages solidarity purchases by customers in favor of the Restos du Cœur. °

Since 2016, Lidl has been implementing a “zero-waste” operation *

Every day, in its 1500 supermarkets in France, 5 kg to 7 kg crates of perishable fruits & vegetables, whose freshness and appearance no longer meet the brand’s standards, are sold at the symbolic price of 1 €. Not compromising quality, these products are safely consumable by customers.

Half of the amount is donated to the Restos du Cœur and contributes to the funding of local projects: acquisition of refrigerated trucks to collect unsold goods, purchase of materials and equipment, refurbishment of association premises, etc.
