Philippe Vardon, candidate for the mayor of Nice supported by the National Rally and the Popular Right, wrote yesterday to the 8 candidates involved in the election asking them to formally commit to accepting a second-round debate.
Without prejudging the results of Sunday or the qualification of some or others for the second round of the election, Philippe Vardon referred to “a fundamental democratic duty” that the candidates owe to the people of Nice.
