The municipality announced this Thursday the program for the So Jazz Festival, which will take place from July 19 to August 22, 2019. Jean-Bernard Mion, the mayor of La Colle-Sur-Loup, and musician Philippe Villa were notably present at the press conference.
The 15th edition of this highly anticipated festival features a diverse lineup that will spotlight numerous artists. 16 dates are scheduled throughout the summer season. For the opening, “Sunny Swing Big Band” will perform with no less than 19 musicians on stage.
The public will be able to attend Swing Jazz, World Jazz, and Gypsy Jazz concerts. On Tuesday, August 13, internationally renowned French trumpeter Nicolas Former will grace the event with his presence alongside the Luc Fenoli Trio.
- Three night markets will be organized in the village on Thursdays, July 25, August 8, and August 22
- Two white evenings from 9 PM to midnight on Fridays, August 2 and 16
- An event exhibition “Familles Colloises” within the shops during the festival.
