The Ministry of Labor announced a few days ago that 13 territories and 740 neighborhoods in metropolitan and overseas France are eligible for the “emplois francs” scheme*.
Among the territories, there are two regions, Hauts-de-France and รle-de-France, and ten departments, including Bouches-du-Rhรดne and Vaucluse.
Following this announcement, opposition councilor Patrick Allemand was outraged and called it a scandal: How can it be justified that Nice is once again forgotten?
And specifically addressing the mayor of Nice, “Is Mr. Estrosi asleep? How can it be justified that among the 740 neighborhoods identified in France, none are eligible in Nice?”
In conclusion, Patrick Allemand criticized the situation: “Once again, the youth from our neighborhoods โ Ariane, Moulins, Bon Voyage, Liserons, Pasteur โ have not been defended by the mayor of Nice with the government, who often talks about employment but does not take action when the opportunity arises.”
Will there be a response and explanation?
