The 13th edition of the European Days of Crafts ends this weekend in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and throughout France, as well as in several European countries.
This year, the most significant international event in the sector will have the theme: “Crafts, Signatures of the Territories”.
At a time when the protected geographical indication is being expanded to industrial and craft products, the National Institute of Crafts supports the preservation of local know-how.
Here are the events scheduled in Alpes-Maritimes:
“Combined Workshops” by the Pièces Marquantes collective – Saturday, April 6 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 7 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at L’Élément Terre – 58 rue Dabray Nice
Founded in Nice at the end of 2017, the Pièces Marquantes collective was born from the meeting of three enthusiasts of artistic and craft creation: Lyndie Dourthe, Nathalie Predial-Thiery, and Aline Perros. Their aim is to bring together local professional artisans and designers through events, exhibitions, and activities open to the public.
Crafts at Le Cannet Côte d’Azur- Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Labeled “City and Crafts” and “Child-Friendly City”, Le Cannet is committed to crafts and offers various workshops for children.
The Candle Tree – Candlestick Maker – Friday, April 5 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
