The sale of masks by large retailers, accompanied by suspicions of preventive stocking, is triggering fierce controversies within the Order of Pharmacists who feel wronged.

In the coming weeks and months, the market promises to be lucrative, and everyone wants their share of the pie.

Renaud MUSELIER has chosen his side, “I am giving large retailers three days to prove they didn’t have a secret stock of masks during the crisis.”

The reason: “If it were proven that these orders and deliveries are much older than their sale this Monday in the establishments of these brands, it would signify something very clear: while our country was enduring an unprecedented global pandemic, these companies stocked essential goods and did not put them into circulation for commercial and communicative purposes.

“If this was confirmed, I would immediately file a complaint for endangering others’ lives, in accordance with Article 223-1 of the penal code, and failure to assist a person in danger, according to Article 223-6 of the penal code,” declared Renaud MUSELIER, President of the Provence-Alpes-Cรดte d’Azur Region, President of Regions of France.”
