Les Visiteurs du Soir is a cultural event in the life of Nice, organized by the contemporary art network Alpes & Riviera BOTOX(S). For its 12th edition, three days of exhibitions are offered across different symbolic art venues in the French Riviera.
Exhibitions, screenings, performances, concerts… there are many opportunities for Les Visiteurs du Soir to surprise contemporary art enthusiasts. From May 24 to May 26, 2019, the public is invited to a free and open journey to discover around thirty venues that open their doors to artistic performances. A free and open itinerary is offered to aficionados: starting from Nice, they can immerse themselves in the artistic intricacies of Mouans-Sartoux, Mougins, and finally Cannes.
The aim of the event is to invite the public to discover contemporary art by making it accessible to everyone through an itinerary that each person follows according to their own choices in galleries, private venues, studios, apartments, and other spaces that are exceptionally open for the occasion.
The BOTOX(S) Association
Founded in 2007, the vitality of the association is explained by the different structures that make up its network: museums, art centers, galleries, private venues, associations, artist collectives, publishing houses. The association is a platform for exchange, a space for reflection, communication, and work for the French Riviera’s contemporary art stakeholders. BOTOX(S) serves as a gateway to contemporary art in our territory for the general public, the press, collectors, and other networks, both in France and internationally, connecting art actors and spectators.
An opening evening for this art-themed weekend is organized at Castel Plage on May 24 starting at 10 PM. The evening will begin with a sound performance by artist Isabelle Sordage, followed by a concert by Les Zemblas, and a set by Afroman Radio.
