According to the daily report from the general directorate of health, 96 additional deaths have been recorded in 24 hours, bringing the death toll since March 1 to 27,625. Covid-19 has caused 17,412 deaths in hospitals and 10,213 in nursing homes and other social and medicosocial establishments.
The decline continues with 2,132 severe Covid-19 cases being treated in intensive care, compared to 2,203 on Friday (-71 cases). Since the start of the epidemic, 98,449 people have been hospitalized, including nearly 17,500 in intensive care, and 61,066 people have returned home cured.
In total, 429 people were discharged from the hospital between Friday and Saturday: 19,432 people are still hospitalized.
In the Alpes-Maritimes, there have been 236 deaths, 164 hospitalized patients, and 14 people in intensive care.
