The World Health Organization (WHO) announced this Wednesday the resumption of clinical trials on hydroxychloroquine, nine days after suspending them following the publication of a study in the prestigious medical journal The Lancet.
After analyzing the “available data on mortality,” the members of the Safety and Monitoring Committee concluded that “there is no reason to modify the protocol” of the clinical trials, announced Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the Director-General of WHO.
