World Cup: The Blues visit Nice

Latest News

For their second match of the competition, the French team heads to the Côte d’Azur to face a strong Norwegian team in the Group A showdown.

After successfully starting their campaigns (4-0 for France against Korea, 3-0 for Norway against Nigeria), the two favorites of Group A will face off in a Nice stadium that, unlike the first match (England-Scotland), will be sold out.

The French players, supported by their fans, will attempt to replicate their impressive performance from the opening match. On the other side, the Norwegians will be eager to show their best to claim the top spot in the group.

Defensively solid, as they demonstrated against Nigeria, Martin Sjögren’s players are also formidable in attack. The teammates of Eugénie Le Sommer have been warned; they will need a great performance to win this prestigious yet tricky match.

The kick-off will be at 9 PM at the Nice stadium (Allianz Riviera).
