The Nice Lawn Tennis Club (Nice LTC) is an institution of sports on the Côte d’Azur and French tennis. This club was founded in 1890, just six years after the codification of tennis in England and three years after the first official tournament organized at Wimbledon. As the first provincial French club in terms of number of members, the Nice LTC is both a cradle of French tennis and a true institution of sports on the Côte d’Azur.
This afternoon, the Department of the Alpes-Maritimes demonstrated its commitment to the Nice LTC by allocating a grant for the club’s annual operations.
In parallel, the Department regularly provides assistance for investments such as the renovation of the fences of clay courts, padel courts, and the construction of tennis courts.
