The wording lacks originality but effectively conveys the idea: once an opponent, always an opponent.
Patrick Allemand, who prides himself on being the chief opponent of Christian Estrosi (but watch out… Philippe Vardon is on his way!) revisits the decision of the President of the Métropole regarding the extension of tram line 1 to Ariane and La Trinité.
Typically, he speaks as the president of the group “Another Future for Nice” or “Another Future for the Métropole,” but here he is representing “The Collective for the Extension of Tram Line 1,” of which he is the leader, or at least the spokesperson.
After having claimed credit for this decision (which is a subjective interpretation of the facts), the collective presents new demands.
Here they are outlined above:
– That the extension work for line 1 on the Pasteur – Ariane – La Trinité segment begins as soon as possible, in accordance with studies conducted in 2003, so that Ariane and La Trinité are served as soon as possible and independently of future tram-train interconnection works.
– And that the work planned by the Métropole does not hinder the implementation of 15-minute TER scheduling up to Drap and the sustainability of the rest of the Nice-Tende line.
