A new edition of the “Match for Employment” for young people from Nice aged 16 to 25 took place on the field of the Charles Ehrmann Sports Park.
The objective of this meeting was to encourage young people to freely discuss their difficulties in accessing education or employment, to introduce them to the opportunities available to them in terms of professional integration, and to support them towards a first job.
These young people, aged 16 to 25, were able to talk for 2×45 minutes (the duration of a football match) with members of sports clubs, associations, and services or organizations focused on professional integration (CFA Metropole Nice Cรดte d’Azur, Pรดle Emploi, Mission Locale “Objectif Jeunes Nice Cรดte d’Azur,” Human Resources Department Metropole/City of Nice/C.C.A.S. Greta Tourism Hospitality, CFA BTP of Antibes, CFA Ran representing the CFA Paul Augier and Vauban, IUT Nice Cรดte d’Azur, etc.).
Since the first edition, more than 120 young people have been supported by the City of Nice, and nearly 70 are currently engaged in a professional project (training, apprenticeship, employment…).
The “Match for Employment” was initiated by the City of Nice as part of the Youth Assizes “Influence Your City,” launched in 2018.
