Inauguration of the Liserons Dojo

The impasse des Liserons, sadly known for social tensions and the presence of criminal gangs, is the focus of the authorities’ efforts with the goal of transformation and renovation.

Within this context, a dojo, the 27th section of the Olympic Judo Club, presided over by Mohamed Otmane, has been established there and was inaugurated yesterday afternoon.

This dojo will be open to children starting from age 4. A trial period will be offered free of charge to families, and a kimono will be provided by the city of Nice to each child who visits to practice judo.

With a total area of 116 mยฒ, the hall includes a 75 mยฒ dojo, a local, changing rooms, and sanitary facilities.

On the occasion of this inauguration, Christian Estrosi, the mayor of Nice, presented City medals and kimonos.
