This Thursday, OGC Nice officially announced the transfer of Adrien Tameze to Hellas Verona. The Nice midfielder, who was loaned to Atalanta Bergamo last January, signs a four-year contract.
OGC Nice is not done with the summer transfer window. With a flurry of new arrivals, departures are on the horizon for the Aiglons club. This is the case for Adrien Tameze, a midfielder deemed “undesirable” by coach Patrick Vieira. This is understandable given his mediocre record at the Gym (85 matches played, 2 goals, and 6 assists).
The 26-year-old player wore the Atalanta jersey for 6 months but only played 9 matches. Back in the South, OGC Nice and Hellas Verona have agreed to finalize his permanent transfer. For an amount of 3 million euros, Tameze will once again play for the transalpine neighbors.
Arriving in Nice in the summer of 2017, the former Valenciennes player, trained in Nancy, is thus committed to Hellas Verona for four years, a club in Northern Italy that finished in 9th place in the last Serie A season.
