In its daily update, Santรฉ Publique France reported on Monday an additional 5,084 cases within 24 hours. An additional 70 deaths have been recorded.
There have been 7,294 new hospitalizations over the past seven days, including 1,415 in intensive care. There are 47 new clusters in 24 hours, with 1,340 currently under investigation. The test positivity rate stands at 8.6%.
Yesterday, a new health protocol for restaurants that can remain open was announced by the authorities. For the moment, the government is not yet considering the possibility of restricting travel between regions based on their alert level.
