The Ministry of Health announced this Wednesday that 22,591 new cases of Covid-19 have been detected over the past 24 hours. 104 people have also died in hospitals since yesterday, bringing the total number of deaths to 33,037 since the start of the epidemic in France.
According to official figures, 1,133 people have been hospitalized over the past 24 hours and 193 have been admitted to intensive care. In total, 9,194 people are hospitalized, including 1,673 in intensive care units.
Overall, 779,063 people have been infected with Covid-19 since the start of the epidemic in France.
